Reusing items is a useful way to reduce on waste.  Before you put something in the garbage, blue boxes, or green bin, try to donate or reuse.

Broken glass and other sharp objects are collected curbside but in order to avoid injuries, there are a few things residents must do before putting the items out for collection.

Sharp household items like broken glass, dishes, knives, mirrors, razor blades and scissors must be sealed in a cardboard box clearly labeled “BROKEN GLASS” or “SHARP WASTE” and placed on top of or beside your garbage bag.Â
