Cell phones can be dropped off for free as part of Recycle My Cell’s ‘Take-Back’ recycling program. Most retailers that sell mobile phones also accept them under this program. Visit Recycle My Cell’s website for program details, including a full list of accepted items and drop off location.
Cell phones are also accepted for reuse and recycling through the Call2Recycle program, the same program that accepts household batteries for recycling.
Alternatively, you can bring your non-working electronics to a Community Recycling Centre for free (residential loads only).
