All household organics can be put into your Green Cart.
Use newspaper, flyers, paper bags, or a certified compostable liner in your bin to reduce odours. Ensure compostable liners have a BPI logo.
Wrap meat in newspaper to absorb the smell.
Plastic, glass, and metal do not go in the Green Cart.
Do not put plastic food packaging, bread ties, fruit stickers, or rubber bands in the Green Cart.
Large quantities can be taken to a community recycling centre.
