Hazardous Waste
HHW is potentially dangerous and should never be thrown in the garbage, green bin, blue boxes, or poured down drains or storm sewers. Â
HHW is not picked up at the curb.Â
Bring these items to any one of the City's three Community Recycling Centres (residential loads only).
Other products such as paint, pesticides, compact fluorescent light bulbs, smoke detectors and batteries can also be harmful if not disposed of safely at a hazardous waste drop-off location.
