Empty hard plastic medicine bottles are not accepted in the recycling program. The bottles and lids should be placed in the garbage.Â
These items are not accepted in recycling due to the mixed material packaging, making it difficult to separate.Â
Items that are not collected for composting or recycling are garbage. Do not put household hazardous waste (HHW) in your garbage. HHW can be taken to a Community Recycling Centre.
